New Churches

This Diocese is opening new churches, both on Vancouver Island and in other parts of the Diocese throughout Western Canada and Alaska. If there are groups of people who are looking for scriptural and orthodox Episcopal direction, and would like to begin a  House Church under the Anglican Church in North America and the Reformed Episcopal Church in their area, please contact Bishop Charles Dorrington at 778-426-3212 in Victoria for information on how to proceed.

Cuba Testimonies - 2016-04-11

1- Our Presbyter Pablo Ulloa in Ciego de Avila Province, age 45, Municipality of Venezuela. "San Lucas" Parish.
- The Diocese supplied them with a most needed Big water tank, and supplied funds to condition an area in the back porch of the house where the Church gathers for Sunday School children classes. That encouraged the brethren there a lot.

2- Every year Bishop Charles and Claudia bring medicine supplies for the different congregations of our Diocese throughout the island. Medicine we have no way to get here...Now, sister Deisy Cobiella age 48, owner of the house where one of our Mission Parishes in The Ilda Torres neighbourhood in Holguin city is located, was suffering from environmental Allergy. Many a night she spent without sleep because of acute shortness of breath. We asked for the medication and our Canadian brethren brought it. The relief that sister has now, when the whether changes, is a sight not to be easily forgotten. I could fill pages of "little testimonies"like that.

3- We have also had cases of brethren affected by serious diseases where the Diocese has help financially to cover urgent needs like sister Isis Cantillo Alba in Moa, $250.00 CUC  (One of the founders and first secretary of Our Parish in Moa) and Deisy Ortiz in Moa as well, near $400.00 CUC. Or the Elderly relief Project in our Parish "Pan de Vida in Habana, $1000.00 CUC, to basically supply medicine, food and other staples for a Parish made up mostly of elderly people. Or medication for diabetics ( like metformin syringes, etc)
